Ten people are killed as terrorists open fire on a bus carrying pilgrims in Raesi, J&K.

Terror Attack In J&K: According to IANS, there were at least ten fatalities in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday as a result of an alleged terror attack on a bus. When the tragedy in the Poni region occurred, the pilgrimage vehicle was returning to Katra town from the Shiv Khori shrine.

According to preliminary accounts, gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from Katra town in the Reasi area back to the Shiv Khori temple.

After being fired at by suspected terrorists, the bus lost control and fell into a ravine. As soon as possible, army, police, and paramilitary personnel raced to the location to begin rescue and relief efforts.

Mohita Sharma, the senior superintendent of police in Reasi, told PTI that nine pilgrims had died and thirty-three had been injured.

Sharma remarked, "It is a very unfortunate incident," in an interview with ANI regarding the bus tragedy. According to the reports we first received, after the terrorists opened fire on the passenger bus, the bus was the target of a terrorist strike."

The SSP added that the driver of the bus lost control and it crashed into a ravine when the terrorists opened fire on it as it was traveling to Katra. The victims have been referred to hospitals in the Reasi District and Naraina, he continued, and the rescue efforts are now complete.

The passengers weren't locals, Sharma informed ANI, but their names are yet unknown. Sharma stated that the commuters are from Uttar Pradesh, citing the results of the primary inquiry.
